Technology

boys using tabletTechnology at PWP

Our students actively use technology! Students may read an online article, research, learn to code, make a movie, record an original composition, or contribute to a blog. It is important that every student take care of school equipment, follow the LAUSD Responsible Use Policy, and demonstrate digital citizenship at all times.

Please review the Responsible Use Policy as well as Digital Safety and Digital Citizenship with your child.

Robotics Club

Students at Park Western have the opportunity to learn about robotics and participate in local area VEX Robotics competitions throughout the year.   Students learn how to collaborate, assemble robots, as well as drive and control robots to accomplish set tasks.  Students learn to sharpen their communication and collaboration, focus and problem solving, team work and dedication while having loads of fun.  In addition to driving the robot, students also code their robots to navigate the course.Robotics CompetitionPark Western Robotics Competition Team
