Student Rules

We are committed to creating a climate where every student feels safe and welcome. We encourage all students to be leaders in our school community.  Students are expected to follow the Park Western Place Guiding Principles: Work Hard. Be Kind. Be Caring.

Each month throughout the year we focus teaching, learning, and reinforcing the Pillars of Character. Teachers also teach and reinforce these pillars of character through literature, lessons, and classroom activities.

Students receive 'Pelican Points' and incentives for following the Guiding Principles as well as demonstrating the Pillars of Character: Respect, Responsibility, Caring, Fairness, Trustworthiness, and Citizenship. Student achievements are celebrated during our Student of the Month assemblies.
